Klimaklaeger Claus Blohm, Johannes Blohm and Franziska Blohm auf dem Bio-Obsthof der Familie im Alten Land. Gemeinsam mit zwei anderen von der Erderhitzung betroffenen Familien aus Deutschland und Greenpeace e.V. leiten sie rechtliche Schritte fuer wirksamen Klimaschutz ein und reichen eine Klimaklage ein gegen die deutsche Bundesregierung. Familie Blohm ist direkt betroffen von den Folgen der Erderhitzung. Die Haeufung der Extremwetter sowie bislang in diesen Breiten unbekannte Schaedlinge und Obstkrankheiten machen der Bio-Landwirtschaft zu schaffen.
Climate plaintiffs Claus Blohm, Johannes Blohm and Franziska Blohm on their organic fruit farm in the Alte Land near Hamburg. Together with two other families impacted by the global warming and with Greenpeace e.V., they are taking legal steps for effective climate protection and file a complaint against the German government with the Berlin Administrative Court. The Blohm family owns an organic fruit farm and is directly affected by the impacts of global warming. The accumulation of extreme wheather conditions as well as pests and fruit diseases previously unknown in these latitudes are causing problems for their organic agriculture.
