GERMANY, Munich, Bavaria – December 14, 2014: A group of young men who call themselves the “Sparifankerl-Pass,” Bavarian for Devil’s Group, have recreated the ancient rural tradition by rampaging through the Munich’s Marienplatz dressed as the devilish two-horned counterpart to St. Nikolaus, Krampus, or Perchten, multi-horned Bavarian creatures who scare away the evil spirits.
